A big THANK YOU! to the Salvation Army for granting The Carpenter's Helper $4,000 with which to buy TCH's first ever set of designated, TCH-owned tools -- a much needed item. Foxworth Baptist Church and Temple Baptist Church have both recently funded projects in their parish, and Oak Grove Heating & Air assisted TCH by providing generously discounted materials and free professional installation.

The Carpenter's Helper is grateful for the involvement of these local organizations, as well as the City of Hattiesburg's Adopt-a-Home Program.

There are many ways that you can make a difference in South Mississippi housing for the elderly, disabled, widowed, and those otherwise unable to repair their shelter.

There are many other ways of investing in Carpenter's helper other than finacially.  You can invest by volunteering in one of several capacities.  Skilled and unskilled volunteer labor help stretch the money which makes us able to help more people.  You can also invest in TCH by donating leftover building supplies.   If you have a desire to come along side of us as we help the substandard living conditions one family at a time, then please contact us.

If you choose to make a financial contribution, you may donate directly to The Carpenter's Helper by pledge or check sent to: The Carpenter's Helper, PO Box 18918, Hattiesburg, MS 39404. Alternately, you may give your donation in person to a representative at Association Management Systems, 207 Third Avenue, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.

The United Way of Southeast Mississippi also provides a unique donation opportunity with their yearly campaign. You may have a portion of your paycheck earmarked for TCH. United Way automatically deducts this donation from each paycheck and delivers the total to TCH once a month.

Since TCH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, all donations of time, materials, or money are 100% tax deductible.
